25 Days of Deals

December 6, 2022 By Jessica Freeman Leave a Comment

As a new online business creator, one of the most important things you can do is to find new customers.  One way to do that is to work with affiliates. Affiliates are people who go and tell their people and customers and friends about your product. If someone purchases your product, you reward the affiliate with a commission because they brought you a new customer. As a business owner, paying affiliates costs money, but having new customers is worth it.

Using affiliates to grow your business can work for a while but at some point there’s only so many partners that you can personally reach out to and contact who will go out on your behalf and find you new customers. At that point you need to find another way to grow your customer base. One of the new ways we’ve discovered that you can grow your customer list is to participate in what’s called a giveaway.

So one of our chicks has been developing a service that offers help to cryptocurrency investors who don’t know how to prepare their crypto related transactions for their income taxes.  Jessica’s been creating tutorials and support systems to teach people how to do their own crypto reports and has even developed some done-for-you services for those who don’t want to figure out how to do it.  Recently she created an intro product that teaches people what they need to know about crypto taxes before they get confused by the myths and rumors out there.  Turns out, this intro video course is perfect to share in a Giveaway event. The trick was finding “the right” giveaway event.  (A course about crypto taxes doesn’t belong in a giveaway focused on health products or coaching for entrepreneurs!)

Jessica actually found TWO giveaways for December that are a good match for her intro to crypto taxes course.  The “25 Days of Deals” organized by Kimi Kinsey is an advent calendar where one free product is offered every day.  New this year, if you’re the impatient sort, an interested customer can now purchase access to EVERYTHING at once by paying $10.  Or you can wait and see the deals revealed each day.  At the end of the month will be an extra week to claim the products you’re interested in before the giveaway ends.

This is the third year Kimi has organized this Advent calendar event. In fact, she even teaches people how to set up their own Advent or other holiday event calendar for their business in her course (find the course name)

Giveaways are great for everyone involved: Kimi gets to find more customers by bringing together all the different businesses with their customer lists.  The businesses get to find more customers that they wouldn’t have found on their own and grow their email list with people who were interested enough to sign up for their free product.  The customers get to find new businesses and products that might be useful that they didn’t know about and they only get added to business’s email lists if they are interested enough to sign up for the deal.  And affiliate partners earn a small commission for bringing new customers to the event.  Everyone wins!
